Child abuse does not discriminate.

It occurs in every community, socioeconomic status and racial group. Jackson County CASA addresses these issues in our communities by protecting the child’s interests in the court proceedings—thus preventing further abuse and neglect—and by facilitating the child’s movement into a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible.

Carnival For CASA

Please join us at the 5th annual “Carnival for CASA” fundraiser on Saturday, September 11, 2010, from 11-4 p.m. at Paradise Park, 1021 NE Colbern Road, Lee’s Summit, Missouri 64086.

Tickets are $20 in advance, and $25 at the door. Children under 2 are free, and adults (non-participating) are $5.

Volunteers—our most important resource

“I would encourage anyone who is looking for a way to make their community a better place to volunteer with CASA. The joy of seeing a child go to a loving, nurturing ‘forever’ family is a priceless reward.”

–Janet Parks, Jackson Count CASA volunteer and recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award
